The Reel

The Shimano Ocea Jigger F Custom 2000 NRHG Jigging Reel with the latest Fall Lever design allows you to control the lever with higher precision. Fall action of jigs can be controlled more easily without having to monitor the fall speed, allowing you to focus on detecting bites underwater.

The handle knob has also been redesigned to be lighter and provides a better grip to facilitate mid-deep games. Complementing the Fall Lever are the Infinity Drive and Micromodule Gear II to provide a smooth cranking experience.

A newly designed lever allows anglers to control the falling speed of jigs easily. This feature greatly helps in displaying a more appealing fall action.

Rotational resistance is reduced by 60% due to a complete redesigned Pinion Gear Support structure, improved drag clicker mechanism and a reduction of the reel's total resistance.

Micromodule Gear II

The OCEA Jigger utilises Hi-Power X, Spiral X core and Nano pitch resulting to one of the lightest, most sensitive and balanced slow jigging rods Shimano has ever created.

Hi-Power X
Hi-Power X provides accuracy in rod action through strength. It provides an ideally accurate rod curve. Hi-Power X prevents rods from twisting when casting and fighting by tightening up Spiral X construction or traditional rod construction with spiralled X-shape Infinity carbon tape. Hi-Power X enables quickness and sharpness in rod action, producing the best blank performance.

Spiral X Construction
Spiral X Construction uses three layers: a blank made of vertical fibres, an inner layer and an outer layer. With the Spiral X construction process carbon is spirally wrapped in extremely tight coils, both inside and outside of the blank. By using the carbon tape in place of a conventional horizontal fibre sheet, Spiral X achieves enhances tensional rigidity, increases overall performance and reduces blank twist or torsion, without adding extra weight.
