The Reel
The newest addition to the Tatula reel family, the Daiwa Tatula TWS 300XSL Left Hand Baitcaster Reel is the first left-handed baitcast reel in the 300 size. Developed specifically for use with large baits, this workhorse is perfect for a variety of fishing applications to handle larger species. Smart features like the T-Wing system, Magforce and more combine for a smooth and powerful reeling performance like no other.

Equipped with Daiwa's Magforce Z magnetic braking system, the Daiwa Tatula TWS 300XSL Left Hand Baitcaster Reel can also be easily tuned for optimal casting based on wind conditions, the rods you're fishing, and overall aerodynamics of the baits you're throwing.

T-Wing System
The T-Wing System opens up line feed. With the reel’s finely tuned spool tension, this provides longer and more accurate casts and effortless control. It’s also efficient at reducing backlashes by reducing the angle of the line coming off the spool.

Magforce
The next generation of Daiwa’s magnetic anti-backlash system like Magforce V before it combines the best aspects of modern magnetic and centrifugal breaking, albeit with some slight differences. Unlike Magforce V magnetic braking is only applied at maximum spool speed, as a result it allows the spool to reach a higher peak speed and allows it to spin for longer. Magforce Z is considered to be best suited to longer casting pursuits and heavier weights.

Aluminium Body
Lightweight and incredibly strong, aluminium allows strength and weightlessness to be achieved without the cost and corrosion issues of other metals.

Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearings
Lasting 12 times longer than standard stainless steel bearings Daiwa’s CRBBs feature specially treated stainless steel, and a protective shield on the bearing race that seals out sand, fine grit, salt crystals and other abrasives. The result is a longer lasting bearing that’s protected from the corrosive elements that destroy traditional bearings.

Ultimate Tournament Drag
A system that combines ultra smooth low inertia with ultimate fish stopping power. UTD combines advanced carbon washers, alloy and stainless steel drag plates with specially designed grease for ultra-smooth performance.

The Rod
The Daiwa Blue Backer LJ 602MHB Trigger Overhead Rod is a good quality light jigging rod that provides exceptional performance combined with excellent operability and bat power. The blank features Daiwa's HVF Carbon Fibre with less resin content giving you a lighter and more powerful rod.

The Braid
The Daiwa UVF Saltiga Durasensor X8 +Si2 Braid is masterfully crafted in Japan using the latest Daiwa technology to produce a silky smooth, super thin line that’s perfect for a host of fishing scenarios. This 8-weave braided line features Daiwa’s muscle PE fibres for higher abrasion resistance and enhanced durability. Despite its extremely thin diameter, the Saltiga Durasensor X8 is super tough with fibres 4x more abrasion resistant than normal braided lines.

Not all braid coatings are created equal. The latest Daiwa Si2+ silicon coating impregnates the individual fibres rather than coating them for a longer-lasting finish which aids in hydrophobicity and line management. The Daiwa UVF Saltiga Durasensor X8 +Si2 Braid is available in larger sizes with traditional multicolour marker in large 300m spools. Perfect for chasing hard-fighting fish!
