The Reel
The Shimano Genpu XT 150 Baitcaster Reel was developed to take on a wide variety of boat fishing applications. This powerful baitcaster reel is lightweight yet durable - designed for all-day fishing. Great for fishing with Engetsu Sliders, Wonderfall Jigs, BottomShip and Lucanus lures.

The Rod
The favourite Backbone series of rods just got an overhaul. The new Shimano Backbone Overhead Baitcaster Rod is now stronger than ever, with a higher quality blank, good quality componentry and a new slick design that is bound to please.

Graphite Blank
Utilising high quality graphite sheets rolled on custom designed mandrels, a sensitive yet extremely lightweight performance fishing blank is created.

Graphite Composite
Rod blanks combining both graphite and fibreglass materials in a particular manner can create a blank with characteristics that are best of both worlds, making a rod that has fibreglass robustness with the power of graphite.
