The Nomad Design SlipStream Flying Fish Lure is a revolutionary heavy duty hybrid lure that has been designed to perfectly mimic a flying fish in both appearance and action in the water. It is extremely versatile and can be cast, trolled or fished from a kite, with a huge variety of rigging options to suit your specific style of fishing. Designed to be trolled up to 8-9kn, the through body rigging means you can rig it like a conventional skirted lure to slide up the leader when fighting a fish, ensuring fish stay hooked. When kite fishing, the hook holder channel along the top of the body allows the hook to sit perfectly positioned but completely concealed, meaning the only thing the fish see from below is a completely natural looking flying fish skipping along the surface. You can also cast the Nomad Design SlipStream Flying Fish Lure into schools of feeding fish or in any other situation to perfectly mimic a flying fish.

The unique folding wing design of the Nomad Design SlipStream Flying Fish Lure allows you to fold back the wings when casting for extra distance or when fighting big tuna and marlin for reduced drag through the water. The wings, tail fin and side fins can all be changed or replaced with Nomad Design WING SETS to create your own ultimate flying fish colour scheme. Every predator in the ocean loves to eat flying fish, and this lure has been crafted by decades of experience on the water to be tougher and last longer so you can catch the big ones.

MATRIX METAL PLATE SYSTEM
The ultimate in strength designed for big fish. The Matrix Metal Plate system features a unique design incorporating a stainless steel plate into the body mold of the lure. The plate is incorporated into the lure with a series of small holes at critical locations in the plate, allowing the molded plastic to weave through the metal plate and create the ultimate in strength. The metal plate means you will never lose a massive fish through lure failure, but the matrix system also means ultimate strength between the metal plate and moulded body.

HD ABS SYSTEM
Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than any other plastic used for lure production. These lures feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.

TRIPLE SHIELD PROTECTION
We ensure that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional colour depth and ensure that the finish on your lure will last longer.

DIAMOND ARMOUR
This is a special internal design process we have implemented for use with clear ABS plastic bodies, where we want colours that are see through, or where using the HD ABS plastic is not required. The internal diamond mesh grid pattern creates an internal framework to strengthen the body of the lure, making it far less likely to be crushed or cracked by large predators. The internal Diamond grid pattern ensure ultimate strength in all applications.
