The Reel
The Okuma T-Rex 7000 Surf Reel is designed by crossover construction and the handle is forged aluminium. It equips with solid reel system, worm shaft transmission system, fast progressive drag, and LCS line control spool that makes casting smoother.

Even Flow Roller System
Reduce line twists by freely rolling over the line roller without friction.

Rotor Equalising System
Precision balance and eliminates all spool wobble for perfect alignments and smooth cranking.

Quick-Set Anti-Reverse
Engage the reel in one direction for rock-solid hook sets.

Hydro Block
Block water and foreign materials from entering system, ensure the drag washers always perform at optimal levels.

Solid Reel Stem
Crossover construction, uses a solid piece of stamped aluminium for the reel stem and rotor arm, along with lightweight graphite sides and rotor housing, provide maximum strength and minimal weight.

The Rod
The Okuma Tournament Concept Pro Medium Surfcasting Rod is built using Okuma's patented Unidirectional Fibre Reinforcement technology. Exclusively designed for Kiwi anglers by the team at Composite Developments - each one built strong enough to fight tough fish and last you many seasons!

It's manufactured using a patented process with an outer layer of longitudinal fibres around the rod blank to significantly increase strength and power in the tip section. This offers lifting power and strength up to four times conventional graphite rods. The Okuma Tournament Concept Pro Rod is durable, powerful and can be fished by all anglers with confidence.
