AEGIS layer
Developed by Swazi and tested in New Zealand's mountain environment, AEGIS is a quantum leap forward in providing comfort and safety in outdoor clothing. It is a windproof, waterproof and breathable membrane made from PTFE . Plus it resists water - to the point it can't get wet!

There's no point in wearing something that keeps out the rain if it keeps in the sweat - you still get wet! Although the unique AEGIS fabric never gets wet. it lets moisture (or sweat) out - so you don't get soaked in sweat.
