Quick and simple to use, the Trojan Safety Chain Mate secures the safety chain to the towbar quickly. For towing safety, always remember to connect safety chains properly every time you tow.
How to fit your Chain Mate:
- Remove nyloc nut and bolt from unit.
- Spread the sliding plate up against spring pressure to suit tow bar tongue, or lug thickness and align unit over hole in tow bar. Insert bolt, fit nyloc nut but do not fully tighten.
- Check operation of locking pin and adjust alignment as required. Securely tighten nut and bolt.
