For use with TruDesign Skin Fittings, Ball Valves and Tails

The TruDesign Load Bearing Collars are designed to complement TruDesign skin fittings and ball valves. When these are assembled with a skin fitting, ball valve and tail, they’re capable of withstanding 500lb (227kg) loads applied to the tail (inboard end). They’re durably built from a glass reinforced nylon composite and are compatible with most hull types, no matter the thickness. The load bearing collars are also completely unaffected by corrosion and electrolysis, making them last longer.

TruDesign Load Bearing Collars Features:
  • Compliant with North American ABYC H-27 standards for 1/2in, 3/4in, 1in, 1 1/4in, 1 1/2in and 2in sized assemblies.
  • Compact footprint
  • No additional bolts or fasteners through or on to the hull
