Corrosion and UV Resistant, the Hella Marine Apelo A1 Underwater Light is made of high-quality materials that ensures superior resistance to water, impact, UV and general wear and tear.It has a surface mount design featuring an ultra-durable, corrosion resistant thermal polymer housing compatible with any hull material. With its high-tech Grilamid lens for superior strength in extreme conditions and also advanced thermal management it ensures ongoing protection and no damage by operation out of the water. It has its IP68 and IP69 completely sealed, preventing moisture from corroding internal LED electronics for long term durability.

LED
Combining efficient LED sources with advanced optic technology, Hella Marine LED products deliver more light output per watt than incandescent based lamps with significant energy savings. Ultra-low heat signatures reduce heat on board and prevent damage to surrounding materials. It also has 90 degrees scope to project a wide horizontal spread of colour across the water with spectacular effect. With a 12 and 24V DC Multi-voltage it's suitable for 12V and 24V systems.

This underwater lamp is made to last and has electrical circuits that suppress possible interference, both emission as well as susceptibility to emissions, to the limits prescribed in international standards.
