Maxwell circuit breaker/isolator panels are available to suit a wide range of windlasses and capstans. The Maxwell 40 Amp 12V/24 V Circuit Breaker/Isolator Panel is used for protection of the main conductor circuit for DC winches. It should be mounted as close as possible to the battery power source to ensure protection against short circuit and to reduce the risk of DC motor burnout in case the winch overloads. This isolator panel enables the battery or electrical supply to be isolated when the winch is not in use. The Maxwell 40 Amp 12V/24 V Circuit Breaker/Isolator Panel is suitable for 12V or 24V DC systems.
