To determine your shoe size, you should measure your foot from the back of your heel to the tip of your big toe.
The easiest way to do this is by drawing a straight line on a piece of paper and marking the end of your big toe and the end of your heel on the line (if necessary keep your socks on for this) – then measure the distance between the two marks. This is your foot length, which you can look up in the chart below. Do this for both feet, as they can often be different sizes. If so, you should always pick a shoe which fits your biggest foot to avoid pinching.
Note that this table is intended only as a guide and can differ from manufacturers’ measurements. Make your decision also based on your own experience.
