Revolutionary Japanese Squid jigging technology

As a result of extensive research undertaken by eging pioneer Yamashita, it has been identified that squid recognise temperature variations in the water. The YamashitaEGI OH Shallow Live Squid Jig is developed to take advantage of that. Featuring a patented thermo-storage cloth called 'warm jacket' that transfers any light into heat for a more natural appeal. It has the capacity to hold heat similar to natural fish making it more successful in attracting Squid since they can recognise temperature variations when hunting prey.

The Yamashita EGI OH Shallow Live Squid Jig also features a patented nose design that minimises water resistance when hopped giving the jig more action with less effort. The LIVE jerks alot sharper when you lift the rod, generating a much better 'walk the dog' action. It also features large flat eyes with a glow edge, super fine spikes, Hyper Direct SUS eyelet to maintain jig strength and protect against breakage or leaks, a knife-edged sinker to reduce resistance in the water, and a strike body to make it easy to retrieve the jig.

Tactywarm
The light to heat transfer is made possible by the new material called 'Tactywarm' which is weaved with a unique thread that is able to change light into heat. It can absorb light from sunlight to artificial light, changing it into thermo energy about 0.5 degree celsius to 1 degree celsius warmer in the water, depending on the conditions.
